Rather than just building a proto very fast and getting this project done, the specs for the Capstone class have me creating massive amounts of paperwork. I'm opting to do this in a more visual manner. I also opted to add a screen to a device that has almost no reason for one. Reading a schematic can be challenging, words get tldr; real fast. This picture conveys the how's and what's of my project. The Why? of the project, I'll save for later.
Borrowing from Paco Underhill,"Our visual language continues to evolve faster than our spoken or written word. That evolution sits at the confluence of disruptive everything; from the viability of broadcast media to the science of visual merchandising. It also circumscribes a generational shift in how and where we access information."
I do think that computers and displays are working their way into every facet of our lives. In my household of two, we have close to a dozen screen now. What is disturbing, is that I don't think this is too outside the norm either. And even though I may not love screens every where, it does seem inevitable. That being the case, I would be silly not add a screen. I wonder what my professors will think when I place an add on it?
